Missions help preschoolers learn fundamental math and literacy skills by dynamically adapting to their abilities as they play.
Each episode hooks in the user, our Agent, with a unique narrative ranging from finding pieces of a broken telescope in outer space to cleaning up a National Park. With encouragement from popular Nick Jr. characters, kids solve the episode’s problem by completing learning-based interactive activities. At the end of each episode, the user is rewarded with a prize.
Each Mission focuses on a specific skill such as measurement, letter sounds, and counting. The team worked closely with Noggin’s learning advisors to develop dynamic interactions with strong educational value. Episodes are designed with custom levels; as a child strengthens their skills, Missions get more challenging to maintain interest and continue growth. Should an activity prove too difficult, Missions level down to avoid frustration and build confidence. Performance in each Mission informs which level users are served in subsequent episodes of the same skill. By serving up content that is appropriate for each child, Missions keep preschoolers engaged with fundamental subjects while having fun with their favorite characters.

Every interactive learning game focuses on one of Noggin’s five learning areas:
- Social & Emotional – Helping kids build confidence, appreciate others, and develop strong relationships
- Early Math – Helping kids build basic skills and make sense of the world through mathematical thinking
- Early Reading – Helping kids communicate and build literacy skills to become great readers.
- Healthy Habits – Helping kids grow strong through movement, nutrition, and mindset
- Arts & Sciences – Empowering kids to become curious, critical, and compassionate thinkers.

Example Game Descriptions:

- A UFO trapped all the planes in its forcefield. Free the planes by landing them in the right order.
- Fix the signs on a hike path so other hikers can find their way to the lookout point. Drag the word that starts with a specific sound to the sign.
